The Dervish of Take and Give

The dervish raises his right hand toward the heavens, certain that God will grant him guidance to straighten his path, trusting that He will open the doors of his heart and mind so he may ascend as a human being. With his left hand facing the earth, he scatters the seeds of his consciousness through his turning — for all the world to receive. Messages poured forth from love, truth, and beauty. Between sky and earth, he is the conduit. Receiving grace from above, offering wisdom below. The axis around which giving and receiving become one seamless, sacred act.
