This work turns the table into a space of memory, gathering, and absence. The figures encircle an almost empty setting, while the luminous disc behind them gives the scene a quiet, ritual presence. The restrained blue palette and layered surface create a sense of distance, as if the gathering exists somewhere between memory and reality. Here, absence is not emptiness, it becomes the most powerful presence in the composition.
