The image constructs two visual registers: a pale field of faces and bodily presence, and within it, a concentrated image of fruit that seems to replace the table itself, charged with color and vitality. The fruit appears almost preserved inside representation, as if color itself belonged to another layer of memory. Between the vivid inner image and the muted surrounding world, the work opens a space where presence, recollection, and absence remain unresolved.
