About this artwork
Each vase carries its own presence — one leans, the other listens, together they create a gentle dialogue of form. Whether standing alone or side by side, their curves whisper of intimacy, balance, and the beauty of imperfection. Hand-sculpted ceramic, glazed in Terracotta and White.
Madar Al Suwedi shapes these vessels as symbols of harmony — exploring how individuality can shine in solitude, yet also find resonance in companionship.
Available individually or as a pair, offers flexibility for collectors. Each piece is unique, sculpted by hand, and when displayed together, they form a rare and poetic dialogue that makes any collection truly stand apart.
About the Artist
Madar Al Suwaidi is an Emirati ceramic sculptor and environmental artist. A self-taught practitioner, she co-founded the House of Clay studio in Al Barsha alongside her mother, Shamsa Juma. Working intuitively with natural black and white clay, she hand-builds intricately textured forms inspired by coral reefs capturing both their organic beauty and underlying fragility
Since launching as a professional artist in 2023, Madar has quickly gained recognition for her sculptural works—such as Soul Sculpture, which were prominently featured at Dubai Design District’s Double J Collective and World Art Dubai 2025. Her sculptures evoke a silent dialogue between land and sea, urging audiences to appreciate and protect undersea ecosystems
