A tempest of figures surges through the canvas, their bodies caught between shadow and radiance. The upper half glows in gold and crimson, echoing fire and sun, while the lower half dissolves into turbulent blues and whites like crashing seas. Together, they evoke a world in upheaval divine light colliding with human struggle. Painted in 2010, this work reveals Moualla’s early preoccupation with collective movement and the drama of existence.
