About this artwork

Two figures emerge from a single wooden base, one upright, one leaning. Their faceless forms suggest not individuals but guardians, still, silent, and attentive. The Watchers hold space, embodying the comfort and mystery of being seen.

In The Watchers, Dana Kamal explores the human need for presence and protection. The figures are not defined by detail but by posture, guardians of memory, keepers of silence, companions in stillness.

To acquire The Watchers is to invite into one’s collection a piece that transcends individuality, speaking instead of universal companionship. Each sculpture is unique, hand-formed, and carries with it a sense of quiet guardianship — a poetic sentinel for any space.
