About this artwork
A dancer spins endlessly, wrapped in flowing circles of wire, crowned with a red fez that marks tradition. Sufi Whirling captures the trance of devotion, where body, spirit, and motion become one with infinity.
With Sufi Whirling, Eyad Jouda pays homage to the spiritual practice of the whirling dervish. The sculpture embodies surrender, the act of spinning not as performance, but as prayer, a journey inward that mirrors the eternal rhythm of the universe.
To own Sufi Whirling is to invite into your collection a sculpture that transcends form and carries a spiritual presence. Singular in its handcrafted detail, it is both a visual celebration of movement and a timeless symbol of devotion.
