About this artwork
Petals unfold mid-air, suspended as if caught between earth and sky. Each shell-like form reveals hidden clusters, a quiet miracle of life rising from charred roots. Bloom is a moment of awakening, fragile yet eternal.
Dana Kamal’s Bloombirds series is a meditation on resilience and transformation. In Bloom, she evokes the persistence of nature — how beauty emerges even from burnt soil, how fragments gather to form wholeness.
To collect Bloom is to hold a fragment of renewal itself — an artwork that whispers of fragility, resilience, and hope. Unique in form, impossible to replicate, it stands as both a sculptural jewel and a timeless metaphor for life’s quiet power.
About the Artist
Dana Kamal, known artistically as D Bloom Bird, is a Dubai-based ceramic and mixed-media artist originally from the Levant.
Dana has developed a signature style rooted in themes of rebirth, growth, and the human connection to the natural world, using hand-built porcelain, black clay, and organic materials to craft poetic, nature-inspired forms. Her work has been exhibited at leading cultural events, including Dubai Design Week, and continues to evolve as an exploration of tenderness, transformation, and storytelling through form.
