About this work
In this work, Ahmad Moualla transforms the figure into a charged presence suspended between movement, memory, and resistance. A solitary body appears to surge through the composition, its outstretched arms caught within a circular form that can be read at once as orbit, boundary, or recurring cycle. Around it, fragmented gestures and layered marks create an unsettled field in which the figure seems simultaneously contained and determined to break free.
The work’s tactile, crumpled surface is integral to its emotional force.
