About this artwork
Carved from wood, The Other Face reveals both strength and vulnerability. Its surface carries the rawness of nature, while the sculpted contours uncover an inner gaze — a silent presence that invites us to see beyond appearances. The small rose detail blooms quietly within, a whisper of softness inside the bold form.Hand-carved wood on stone base. Eyad Jouda’s work often dwells in the dialogue between the seen and the hidden. In The Other Face, he reflects on duality, how within each strong exterior lies tenderness, and how identity always carries layers waiting to be discovered.
To own The Other Face is to embrace a sculpture that embodies contrast and truth. Unique in its form and in the natural grain of the wood, no other piece will ever be the same, making it an unrepeatable addition for collectors who value art that speaks both of nature and of the human condition.
