About this artwork
A solitary figure bends gently forward, hand stretching toward a single rose. The scene captures the fragile tension between longing and restraint, the beauty of desire balanced with the dignity of letting go.
In Renunciation, Dana Kamal explores the human act of reaching for what is precious, even when it may wound. The rose becomes both symbol of beauty and of pain, while the figure embodies the quiet courage of choosing whether to grasp or release.
To acquire Renunciation is to bring into your space a deeply human story: one of yearning, fragility, and strength. It is not just an artwork but a reflection of life’s choices unique, poetic, and destined to resonate with those who stand before it.
