About this artwork

From the haze of shifting tones, two figures emerge half-formed, half-vanished like silhouettes caught between memory and dream. The painting reads as a fleeting encounter, its atmosphere dense with mystery and suggestion, where light breaks softly through the darkness.

Riad Shaar’s impressionistic–expressionist style blurs boundaries between subject and space, dissolving the seen into the felt. Through layered strokes and muted contrasts, he invites viewers to experience presence as both fragile and eternal.

This canvas acts as a conversation between shadow and light, offering a contemplative resonance to contemporary and classic settings alike.

Perfect for interiors that thrive on mood and depth, intimate studies, refined lounges, or art-focused hallways.
